Meter Calibration Recomendation
All meters should be inspected every year. Meters should be calibrated as on the following schedule. All acres are row acres (total planter acres/number of planter rows).

*Meters with John Deere 30 cell plates and even a few Pro40 meter have no adjustment other than vacuum. Therefore, every seed change is subject needing ground speed or vacuum adjustment. We encourage our customers to either change then out for newer technology, add double eliminators to the meter if Pro40, or order one specific seed size and shape. If ordering one seed size, please have that seed available for is when we calibrate so we can set the meter to that specific seed.
** Finger meters may have many wear components and are very particular to seed size and shape.
